Hello Friends! Large room available in a 3 bed/1 bath apartment between Magoun and Gilman green line stops (2 blocks to either), available Sept 1. First floor, not Wheelchair accessible (steps up to the front and back entrances). First 6 pictures are the available room. Room will be unfurnished. My roommate and I are looking for a third to join us! Current Inhabitants: •I am a queer, White, Jewish, neurodivergent trans man (he/him) •He is a “garden variety cis South Asian dude” (he/him) •Bo is my large friendly feline. He requests no additional cats or dogs please, but loves humans, especially those who feed him and provide a lap. •Two fish tanks with various aquatic friends (in the living room pics) We have lived here 4 years. We are in our 30s and work full time. We are friendly and respectful but also tend to keep to ourselves. We divide responsibilities for cleaning shared spaces and keep things neat. We are looking for someone easy going, respectful, friendly, responsible, communicative, and clean. No Smoking household. About the place: a) Rent is $1120/month for the Large room (~180 sqft, ~14 ft X 13 ft), 1 year lease (Sept 1 2025- Aug 31 2026) b) No broker fee, Rental company requires credit/ID check ($350 application fee). $900 deposit and 1st month rent required after approval from rental company to move in. c) Utilities (electricity, gas and internet) are additional $60-$125 per month per person depending on season and usage d) Apartment is on quiet one-way street and is less than 10 min walk to both Gilman & Magoun square stops and ~20 min walk to Union, Porter & Davis Sq. Additionally, 2 bus routes (88 to Davis Sq/Lechmere and 90 to Davis Sq/Sullivan Sq) are within 5 min walking distance. Despite its vicinity to Highland Avenue, Davis, Porter and Union square, it's tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood e) Apartment is 1 block away from the Somerville Community Path (pedestrians and bicycles only) that connects Davis Sq and Lechmere. f) Unfurnished bedroom for rent is the largest room in our apartment (~180 sqft, check images for floor plan). There are 3 big windows facing East/North East and gets plenty of light during the day. It has enough room for a queen bed, desk, dresser with plenty of space to spare. g) As you can see in floor plan, I have put the same amount of furniture (Queen bed, night stand, dresser and a desk) in each bedroom to show the space to scale. h) The bathroom is shared and has a double vanity, shower and in unit Washer/Dryer i) Large kitchen and a spacious living room with wood flooring throughout the apartment. Kitchen has generous storage and counter space for everyone (gas stove/oven, double sinks, a large refrigerator and a new & quiet dishwasher) and living room is furnished with a sectional couch j) Large amount of extra storage for luggage, supplies etc. in basement k) Shared backyard space, nice for summer hangouts l) 1 Off-street parking per apartment included in rent. Street parking is available with Somerville parking permit. Ample parking space on one way residential street. m) Nearby grocery stores include Market Basket and Star market, both 15-20 min walk from the apartment.
