Qualifications: Minimum 25 years of age: Driver Minimum 23 years of age: Helper 1-2 years experience performing in-home delivery, installation, and retail customer service. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties Valid state-issued driver's license Ability to read, write, and perform basic math (addition & subtraction) No commercial license required Must have a relatively clean driving record for the past three years Must be able to pass a Drug Test and pass a DOT screening exam Must have a clean background check Have the ability to safely load, move, and remove home appliances and maneuver 150+ lbs with dolly Must be able to properly use cargo equipment to ensure safe deliveries to prevent damaging customer products en route to designations Physically fit to climb stairs when necessary (including with an appliance dolly) Must be reliable and trustworthy Capable of working in any weather condition Willing to work 6 days per week (weekends as needed) Responsibilities: Requires morning, afternoon, and potentially evening (depending on work load) availability any day of the weekly work schedule Must have the ability to move large, and/or heavy home appliances Plan and execute delivery activities including preparing delivery loads, following planned delivery routes, and assisting with merchandise installations and haul-away returns Also responsible for unloading, installing, and checking appliances and equipment for any defects prior to shipping and installation Responsible for the cleanliness and standard maintenance of the box truck, and observing safety procedures regarding Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Work Schedule: Sunday – Friday Routes are 150 to 200 miles per day (175 average mileage/day) Local Routes only 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (End Time Varies on Most Days Due to Workload and/or Coverage) Bi-Weekly Bonuses Available!
