That Little Farm in Troy, AL has Cayuga ducklings, straight run, for $5 each. The Cayuga is a medium-sized, heavy breed that is black with iridescent beetle-green lights. Adult weight averages 8 lbs (Male), 7 lbs (Female). Egg color varies from black to pale green/blue. Ours tend to be gray. The Cayuga is a meat-type duck. Ducks mature at around 6 months of age and may lay 100–150 large eggs per year. The incubation period is 28 days. That Little Farm is a licensed hatchery and NPIP certified so you can be confident our birds are disease free as they are routinely tested by the USDA.
