Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Automotive AC Technician for our client located at Huntsville, AL you will be using assigned tools. This position requires the individual to reach, stand, kneel, bend, stoop, twist and lie down to accomplish the graphic details of emergency vehicles. Individuals will perform a variety of tasks and will be in various positions throughout the workday. This is a great opportunity to work with a leading company while building your long-term career. Responsibilities Involves the installation of after-market automotive air conditioners. Reconditioning Pull vacuums Charge Troubleshoot and repair ​Wire and test Standard wrenches 3/8” to 3⁄4” Standard screw drivers both flat-head and Phillips-head #6-#8 Standard socket set 1⁄4” drive Standard socket set 3/8” drive Needle nose pliers Channel locks Side cutters Tape measure R-12, R-134A, R-22 Requirements ASE Certification is preferred (T7); experience working on medium duty trucks preferred. Ability to follow instructions, multi-task and work under time constraints Must have a good attitude and strong work ethic. Must have good attendance and a stable work history. Typical automotive manufacturing shop environment (hot/cold/dusty). Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills are required. Ability to work independently HS Diploma or GED preferred. Must be able to read and write. Ability to follow instructions, multi-task, and work under time constraints Must have a good attitude and strong work ethic. Must have good attendance.
