Here is your chance to own a rare... and odd piece of vehicle history. The Sinclair C5 Electric vehicle is a three wheel electric recumbent vehicle that also has pedal assist. Made in Great Britain, this was the invention of Sir Clive Sinclair (of Sinclair calculator fame) and was marketed as a commuter vehicle for city use. Prince William and Prince Harry were C5 owners as well as Sir Elton John. Only a handfull have made it to the US. This model has all of the "add on accessories" except mud flaps. These include side mirrors, turn signals, horn and seat cushion. The body and chassis were developed by Lotus. This incredible vehicle is in perfect operating condition and reaches the top speed of 15mph. Its a fun vehicle to cruise around on and gets tons of attention with people smiling and waving wherever you drive it. Brand new battery and tires (plus the original Sinclair branded battery goes with the car as well as the original Sinclair branded tires). If the battery is running low or you are traveling up a steep hill you can also pedal to assist the motor. A Sinclair car club in the UK actually were in the Queens Jubilee parade last year.
