1996 Camaro SS - $11,000 (Lincoln)

address5600 Roose St, Lincoln, NE 68506, USA

Description

I have a 1996 Camaro SS for sale. It is a hardtop 6spd car. I bought it in late 2016 from a private seller in Omaha. Since owning it i've done a BUNCH of tasteful stuff to this car. -1996 Camaro SS (#SLP 1720) -6spd -hardtop -148k miles -clean title/no accidents I'll start by listing how I got the car, then i'll add on below what i've done. What it had done to it when I purchased: stock engine, bunch of suspension parts -Koni SA shocks -subframe connectors, front and rear sway bars, panhard bar and rear control arms (I believe they are BMR, they are red) -everything engine wise was completely stock -previous owner said the clutch was replaced (unsure brand) and that the t-56 was replaced from a lower mile car because the syncros were shot. This is just what was told to me. The clutch and transmission feel perfect to me as it sits. What i've done to it: -MGW short throw shifter -Skip shift eliminator -K&N intake w/ smooth bellows -DMH electric cutout (switch mounted in ashtray) -Speed Engineering LT's/ORY/GMMG catback -CC503 cam - 1.6 Lunati Roller rockers - howard valve springs - also replaced timing chain -Sam Strano lowering springs -OE replica zr1's on 275/40/17 & 315/35/17 Nitto G2 tires (bunch of tread remaining) -AEM Uego Wideband with gauge mounted in A pillar (needs new sensor in exhaust) -JET DST tuning software/cable (originally tuned by Solomon @ lt1pcmtuning) -Ls1 center console conversion -Pioneer Radio/Alpine 6.5" speakers in front doors (wired directly to headunit, rears are still on bose amps) The car is 27 years old, and has 137k+ miles. It's not perfect. I didn't notice it when I bought it, but at some point the LF fender had been repainted. There is also a dent in the passenger side rocker panel. It has some scratches and chips that had touch up paint applied to them when I got it. Normal chips and webbing on the front fascia. The dent is the most noticeable thing, and I've yet to fix it because of the cost associated with all of the repainting. A/C does not work. Heater works, no SES lights, and I had it aligned after I got the tires. Cruise control works. Passenger power window is slow. All inner door panels are secure and not broken. Does have a small crack in the dash on the passenger side. It drips oil, most likely from the oil pan when I put the cam in. I can never visually see the drips but it leaves a mark in your driveway. It also has the LS1 style steering shaft that I installed when I put the headers on. The steering and the car are very 'TIGHT'. It goes where you want it to. I'll add to this post because i'm sure i'm forgetting a lot of things as i've owned this car for almost 9 years now. Lots of time invested in this beauty, but my daily is about to go and I'm at the point where I just need 1 reliable car. I have the carfax to the car when I got it. It had 121,386 miles on that, so i've only put on about 16k in the last 7 years. $11,000 FIRM. Serious buyers only, don't waste my time or yours. Thanks for looking! If you have any questions just ask, I can also take additional pictures of specific things at your request. It has been garage kept as long as i've owned it, and is currently sitting in an apartment garage.
