Local CPA Firm has immediate need for Senior Tax Preparer and Junior tax Preparer (San Francisco) This is a full-time position with a flexible work schedule. We offer competitive salary and benefits DOE (Health, Dental, Life and 401(k)). This is a fun, quiet and casual work environment. This is not a 9-5 job. You will have a certain number of billable hours to hit per month. Your efficiency is your own. The faster and better you get, you can actually have extra time at the end of the month to focus on education, little projects, or take off. Senior Tax preparer: Responsibilities and Qualifications include: - 4+ years of experience in tax and accounting, preparing 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120s - Experience with Proseries, Quickbooks Desktop/Online - Knowledge or experience with advanced level Excel skills - Able to prepare tax return by yourself after training - have bookkeeping experience - Superb verbal and written communication skills with ability to provide outstanding customer service. - Willing to learn and follow manager lead. - Speed and accuracy with numbers along with extreme attention to details. - Able to meet tight deadlines, work well under pressure, and able to prioritize multiple incoming requests. - Have common sense, logic and ability to learn new things quickly. - Flexible paid vacation schedule (black out period from February to mid-April). -Paid TBD Junior Tax preparer: Responsibilities and Qualifications include: - 1+ years of experience in tax and accounting, preparing 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120s - Experience with Proseries, Quickbooks Desktop/Online - have bookkeeping experience - Superb verbal and written communication skills with ability to provide outstanding customer service. - Willing to learn and follow manager lead. - Speed and accuracy with numbers along with extreme attention to details.- Able to meet tight deadlines, work well under pressure, and able to prioritize multiple. -Paid TBD
