The amount of supervision required depends on the complexity of the site and your experience level. The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience in operating and maintaining wastewater treatment plant equipment and systems. Strong technical knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and equipment is required. Additionally, candidates must possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Operate and maintain shop machinery, equipment, hand, and power tools safely and efficiently. Work with a range of materials including wood, sheet goods, metals, plastics, and hardware. Prepare and track tools, equipment, and materials for assigned projects. Collaborate in improvements on build methods and technical solutions. Accurately forecast and communicate task completion timelines. Support daily shop operations, including material prep, assembly, finishing, and staging. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace. Track time and assignments accurately for project reporting. Assist with the upkeep of department tools, consumables, and equipment. Participate in post-project reviews, offering feedback and improvements for future builds. Promote and maintain a safe, respectful, and collaborative working environment Qualifications & Skills: Proven experience as a carpenter, fabricator, or related workshop role, ideally in in the commercial, hospitality, and/or residential fit out market. At least 3 years of experience in the manufacturing and/or installing of high quality, bespoke millwork products. Experience with all millwork manufacturing machinery – Panel Saw, Jointer, Planer, Widebelt Sander, etc. Strong knowledge of fabrication methods, materials, joinery techniques, and finishing. Ability to read and follow technical drawings, plans, blueprints, and sketches with accuracy. Competency with shop machinery, hand tools, and power tools. Excellent craftsmanship, attention to detail, and pride in quality work. Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and prioritize multiple tasks. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Team-oriented with clear, professional communication skills. Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic. We currently seeking a Safety Specialist within our Building Engineering division for various construction and civil projects throughout New York State. Our LaBella safety team provides safety management services and training to clients for all industries and markets. This position would report to our Latham, NY safety manager. This safety position is highly dynamic and requires long term travel assignments. The successful candidate will have the ability to work with our client's management team, safety staff and labor to assure on-site safety compliance. The position will be located on one of our client's project sites and have the ability to guide, lead and provide corrective actions, as needed. This will be a part time role.
