With a reputation built on innovation, integrity, and precision, we're looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Project Manager / Estimator to join our leadership team and drive successful project execution from concept to completion. Position Overview: The Senior Project Manager / Estimator is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of design-build construction projects—handling project planning, estimating, budgeting, client communication, and on-site coordination. This dual-role position requires a highly organized individual with strong leadership skills and a solid background in both project management and estimating. We are looking for a very capable and interested individual that will fit into our work culture. You may be splitting your time between the office and several of our local job sites to help with the hands on construction. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage multiple construction projects from pre-construction through close-out Prepare accurate cost estimates and bids based on drawings, specs, and site visits Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports Collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams Review contracts, change orders, and scopes of work Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards Identify risks and provide proactive solutions throughout the project lifecycle Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvement Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in commercial or residential construction (design-build preferred) Proven success managing complex construction projects from estimating to completion Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, scheduling, and cost control Proficient in construction estimating software and project management tools Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills What We Offer: Health, dental, and vision insurance, 50% paid by employer Paid time off and holidays A collaborative and growth-oriented work environment Hours - Monday-Thursday 7:30-5pm Fridays off (36 hour work week) Flexibility with appointments, recreation or family obligations How to Apply: Please send your resume and a brief cover letter to the email listed with the subject line: Sr Project Manager / Estimator Application View our company's work at www.alexeiforddesign.com
