General Responsibilities: • Finding leaks and fixing them with the highest quality and attention to detail. • Completing repair jobs as per the scope of work. • Providing notification if additional work is recommended. • Reporting all repair findings on an app with before and after pictures and basic descriptions. • Safety – always working within Interstate’s safety rules. • Customer communication Essential Duties and Requirements: • Able to transport, set up and use ladders for roof access. • Standing, walking, kneeling and working on sloped surfaces for extended periods of time. • Superior knowledge of composition roofing installation and repair. • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a steep slope roofing foreman. • Demonstrative leadership skills (leads by example). Positive attitude. We are seeking a Shop Foreman with 10+ years of experience in architectural millwork or high-end fabrication to oversee daily production on our shop floor. This role is pivotal in connecting our design/engineering team with our skilled makers, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of craftsmanship. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES -Lead and manage shop staff, assigning tasks, setting priorities, and monitoring progress. -Oversee production schedules, ensuring projects meet deadlines and budget requirements. -Maintain strict quality control standards on all fabricated components before delivery/installation. -Troubleshoot technical and workflow issues, collaborating with engineering and PM teams. -Ensure best fabricating practices, machine maintenance, and set safety guidelines. -Coordinate with operating manager, project managers, drafters, and CNC operators to align shop output with design intent. -Train, mentor, and evaluate junior staff to strengthen the team’s skills and efficiency. QUALIFICATIONS -10+ years of experience in architectural millwork, custom fabrication, or related field. -Proven leadership experience in a shop foreman, lead fabricator, or production manager role. -Deep knowledge of woodworking machinery, CNC equipment, and modern shop workflows. -Strong ability to read and interpret shop drawings and architectural plans (Rhino/AutoCAD familiarity a plus). -Exceptional attention to detail, craftsmanship, and finish quality. -Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. -Knowledge or attitude for Project Management Software, specifically INNERGY.
