D Z Strad Violin Shop is looking for someone to set up and repair stringed instruments and maintain shop instruments. We specialize in the sale and rental of string instruments with a focus on violins, violas, cellos, and double basses. The ideal candidate we are looking for will have a working knowledge of these instruments, great attention to detail, and a great work ethic. This is a full-time position that will require a 4 to 5-day commitment at the shop. If you are good with your hands, have a passion for stringed instruments, and/or have woodworking experience, please contact us. Requirements: - Good understanding of violin, viola, cello, and/or double bass - Detail oriented with woodwork experience - Ability to meet tight deadlines - Basic ability to play the violin, cello, viola, or double bass You will also be responsible for the inventory and maintenance of tools and strings.
