I'm not new to having roommates. I rented when I lived in New Jersey 2007-2019. I had a 3 bedroom townhouse and rented out my spare bedroom for 12 years when I lived there. What I am offering is a room in a safe and very quiet mostly 50+ community. The swimming pool and community center is right across the street from my location. We all look out for each other. Very friendly. You must provide 2 personal references and 1 professional reference (current job or proof of retirement income, etc.). You will have to fill out an application with the community property manager. They will do a background and credit check. If you have a felony in your record, are on probation, or charges are pending, they will not approve you. The cost for the application is $50 paid by applicant. Once you have passed that step, you will sign a lease from me. Deposit is $500 plus $500 due when signing the lease. Minimum lease is 6 months. Then month to month if you want to stay. It's fully furnished and remodeled. Full size bed and frame with three pillows, sheets and a comforter. You are welcome to use your own if you prefer. Bed frame has two 120v connectors on top, plus two USB and a USB-C connector. I added some LED lights to the bedframe you will see in the photos, but you can turn them off. In the room you have your own medium sized refrigerator/freezer. A 50" ROKU 2025 Smart TV on top of an entertainment center. Behind the TV there is an outlet with two additional USB ports. Wii gaming system with plenty of games and all accessories. Private side lighted entrance with an electronic key lock. Closet and drawer storage for your clothing. Two large storage areas in the bathroom, plus medicine cabinet and your own sink. The bathroom is attached to the bedroom. It's shared. Just one bath. I have a large shed out back if you need to store some things. Not a basic shed. We can work out those details when the time comes. I don't currently have a washer/dryer at my home. But there is an inexpensive laundry facility (washers/dryers) on site less than 1/4 mile away. Included Utilities: - Electricity - Water - High Speed Internet - Air Conditioning I'm a male age 53. Prefer someone who is active and has a job and won't be here 24/7. No pets unless they are caged or fish. No overnight guests for more than a couple days for special occasions. I don't have frequent visitors. Maybe once every month a friend stops by to visit and then leaves. Or my 77 year old female neighbor friend. I don't have anyone who stays overnight. I'm single and I don't have pets. I'm very quiet and respectful. If I'm doing something that is not to your liking, just let me know and we can work it out. I will ask the same of you. I do smoke cigarettes in the house, but the room is far away from where I stay and your doors can stay closed. There is the AC intake/outlet vent in that room and I keep the main AC fan running 24/7. I keep the AC around 75 degrees. I have my own AC unit in my room with the fan constantly running to recirculate the air. There are plenty of cooking appliances. Toaster oven, microwave, hot plate, grill, blender, food processor, crock pot. Available to use, but you break it you buy it. And I have some pots and pans. You must use your own plates, forks, spoons, etc. I tend to get 5-10 replies a week on my rental posts, so please bare with me. I'm going to pick who I feel is the best candidate.
