Key duties include performing routine and preventative maintenance, diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and documenting all maintenance activities. The role requires strong technical skills, the ability to read blueprints, excellent problem-solving abilities, and adherence to all safety regulations. Masonry Bid Estimator Masonry and stucco company seeking full time bid estimator. Position responsibilities will include but are not limited to: -Prepare estimates for commercial work pertaining to brick, block, stone, and stucco using plan sets and/or commercially available online takeoff tools. -Be responsible for working with subcontractors and suppliers during the bid process in order to obtain complete bid package information. -Prepare accurate bid proposals and propose them to the general contractors. -Review the project documents for value engineering suggestions. -Work with the Estimating Team and the Client to review proposal specifications, drawings, and attend pre-bid meetings to determine the scope of work and required contents of the estimate. -Must be able to work with Project Manager and company owner to ensure that projects are kept on schedule and on budget. -Ensure all working documents and data are maintained to back-up estimate figures with bid estimating team. -Applicants must have the ability to take initiative and work independently while also collaborating in a team environment. -Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills used in working with the internal team, vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
