We are a busy construction and remodeling company looking to hire someone who has at least 5 years of experience in construction. Must speak some english, be in good shape and capable of lifting at least 50 lbs. Must be a US Citizen, possess a valid Social Security number and have reliable transportation. Must have some basic knowledge and experience in construction like how to measure and cut lumber accurately, work with different types of power and hand tools and be able to work on ladders. There will be times when you will be asked to do physical demo work and carry heavy construction materials. You will also be working with an experienced foreman as his helper doing, carpentry, framing, electrical, drywall, etc. Must be motivated to come to work 5 days a week starting at 7:30am and be on time with no excuses. We have jobs all over San Diego County including Poway, La Jolla and Carlsbad. When you reply, list your experience and skills in construction so we can see what your experience level is. With the proper technique, and a focus on our client’s comfort, we keep up with their nail care and provide a much more relaxing and positive experience.   About the Job:   The role will require use of your own car to drive to each clients house and perform a nail trim and/or grind as well as any additional services they request (ear cleaning, pad moisturizing, pad shaving). Most clients are on a repetitive schedule allowing them to get to know you and become more comfortable with the services. This role will require working our pop up events. We currently have a 3hr pop-up every Saturday from 12-3pm. Additionally, we try and attend any and all pet centered events around Ventura & Los Angeles County. The pop ups are a great way to gain new clients by providing information about our services as well as providing services on-site during these events. We are looking to fill three shifts a week with hours ranging from 16-20hrs per week. The working hours are: Friday (10am-6pm) and Saturday (8am-4pm). As the company grows, so will the opportunity for more hours.   What we are looking for:   Our ideal candidate loves animals and is confident reading their body language to understand their needs and discomforts. Responsibilities: Maintain all work equipment in good standing and utilize company magnets when working. Drive to the client's home & perform nail trim services (appointments are typically less than 15-20 minutes from arrival to payment.) Uphold safety standards and follow procedures for nail trimmings. Provide excellent customer service & ensure the well-being of clients during nail trims. Accept payment for services provided and reschedule/confirm next routine appointment Assure all tools are charging and prepared for the next shift. Qualifications: Valid driver's license with a clean record (no driving tickets or accidents in the last 3 years). Reliable mode of transportation to get to and from appointments daily. Previous experience working with animals, preferably as a vet tech, dog groomer, or similar role - Must already know how to trim and grind nails. Must be able to be on the ground with larger dogs, bend to accommodate smaller dogs, have the ability to lift 40lbs, and walk from car to house/apartment repeatedly throughout the day, including the ability to climb stairs daily. Comfortable using technology & the ability to learn our booking software. Benefits: First two weeks of training are paid at $16.50/hr. After completing training, pay raises to $19-$21/hr (based on experience) + tips. Tips are not guaranteed, but we’ve seen them range from $5 - $20/hr.
