We are seeking a contractor who has experience doing common household repairs in occupied rental single-family homes, and in rehabbing single family homes between tenant turn overs. The properties are primarily located in Eastpointe, MI with a couple properties located in Warren and Harper Woods. At EPM, we take extreme pride in the quality of work provided to our tenants, and we are looking for contractors that share that sense of pride in their own work. Requirements: -Ability to troubleshoot and Repair Basic Electrical (Outlets, GFI's, switches, light fixtures) -Ability to troubleshoot and Repair Basic Plumbing (Kitchen Faucets, sinks, p-traps, toilet repair & replacement) -Ability to read and follow repair lists as mandated by city codes -Must have own tools, Transportation, & Valid Drivers License. -Knowledge of and ability to complete full vacant turn processes. -Basic Experience with heating and air conditioning. -Finish product reflects quality and care of work -Previous property maintenance experience preferred. Many of these jobs can be broken down into simple tasks that most homeowners or DIY'ers are able to accomplish. It's not a full time position, but for the right person who is motivated can accumulate hours quickly. Have 4 hours on the weekend and looking to make $100? Or a couple hours after work here or there throughout the week? Schedule maintenance appointments at your convenience. $200 to clean a vacant house top to bottom (8 hours). Fall Maintenance cleaning gutters and making sure downspouts are attached and free of debris. It's really that simple sometimes. But if you want to make hours by staying organized and scheduling in advance, and showing up on time and doing the work, the opportunity is there as well for the right people. $25 minimum per hour, with special repairs like roofing or concrete/porch steps paying up to $45 per hour. Key Responsibilities: Program, set up, and operate CNC routers for architectural millwork production in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Read and interpret shop drawings, CAD files, and work orders to ensure precision and accuracy in output. Create, adjust, and optimize CNC software such as SAI EnRoute, AutoCAD, AlphaCAM, or Microvelum to maximize efficiency and minimize material waste. Perform machine setups including tool changes, calibration, and fixture adjustments. Detect issues in the creation process and find solutions to ensure the machinery creates components in line with design specifications. Conduct quality checks on finished components to ensure compliance with design specifications and tolerances. Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machinery to ensure continuous, safe operation. Keep detailed records of operations, including production and quality logs to maintain operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards. Assist in other workshop tasks as needed. Qualifications & Skills: Required: 3+ years of CNC operating/programming experience in a millwork or woodworking environment.
