Looking for cooks to fill both full or part time positions in a high volume, fast paced, team oriented environment. Experience is preferred but not mandatory as we are willing to train someone looking to start in the industry. Customer service skills are a must as our cooks deal directly with the customers, and therefore receive tips. Most of our menu is prepared in house with fresh ingredients, which means there is a good amount of prep work to be done on a daily basis. At 34 Restaurant and Bar, the Chef de Partie is a senior cook's position that is responsible for overseeing their section and ensuring that Mise en Place is in order and that dishes are prepared to restaurant standards. The Chef de Partie must maintain close communication with Sous chefs and Chef de Cuisine to review recipes and confirm that inventory and equipment are in place for service. We are looking for cooks that are well versed in a wide variety of cooking techniques and procedures.
