📌 Temporary Business Manager – Nonprofit (1070 Mcandrew rd, Ojai)

The Krishnamurti Foundation of America (KFA) is a nonprofit based in Ojai, California. For over 50 years, KFA has preserved and shared the work of philosopher J. Krishnamurti through programs, publications, and retreats. We are seeking a full-time Temporary Business Manager to cover maternity leave. • Dates: December 1, 2025 – June 1, 2026 (training to begin by November 1, earlier preferred) • Schedule: 37.5 hrs/week, Monday–Friday • Location: Ojai, CA (hybrid option — some work can be done remotely) • Pay: $6,250 – $6,800/month (DOE) ⸻ Main Duties • Manage monthly closes in two QuickBooks accounts (KFA and Center), including reconciliations and journal entries. • File quarterly sales tax and county TOT returns. • Prepare financial reports (for CPA, Finance Committee, and Board). • Track restricted funds and maintain compliance. • Support budget tracking and reporting to the Executive Director. Note: Payroll, donation processing, and bill payments are already handled by other staff.
