Island Details Landscape & Maintenance has provided exceptional landscape/ hardscape services for Kitsap County since 1978. Our company offers dry creeks, plantings, maintenance, pruning, irrigation, painting, slate walkways and more. If you are an experienced Gardener / Landscaper with experience in pruning or building hardscapes we would love to hear from you! The positions we have available are full time, Monday - Friday, with lots of opportunity for growth. We offer a competitive wage, dental, in-field training, doughnuts on Friday's & more! RESPONSIBILITIES: - You will maintain all aspects of residential landscapes including weeding, mulching, mowing, blowing, edging, pruning and planting. - Apply fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides under the direction of your lead. - Meet deadlines while still maintaining high standards. - Follow daily procedures. (time/ tool check/ tool return/ etc.) - Work outdoors in varying terrain/ weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude and teamwork mentality. - Communicate with your lead to ensure the completion of daily maintenance, special projects, appropriate paperwork and customer requests. REQUIREMENTS - Two years experience preferred. - Knowledge of and ability to use landscaping and grounds maintenance tools. - Knowledge of how to operate walk-behind lawn mowers. - Ability to differentiate between weeds and ornamental plants. - Multitasking - Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. - Experience in pruning & small construction(rock walls, pathways, patios, etc.) a plus. -Valid driver license a plus. - Experience in painting is a PLUS - MUST have Drivers License We enjoy and cultivate our career oriented environment. Workplace: -5-day work week (Monday Thru Friday! We are closed weekends!!!) -Flat Rate up to $35-60/hr ($25 - $50/hr flagged plus up to $10/hr performance based bonus plan) -20 Hours per week minimum Guarantee for consistency with larger jobs.
