The Assistant Store Manager is a key driver of sales and customer satisfaction within our retail stores. Adhere to all operational policies and procedures outlined by the store, ensuring smooth and secure operation. Requirements Prior retail management experience, ideally with 1+ years in Assistant Manager responsibilities. A results-oriented individual with a strong sales focus, capable of leading and coaching team members towards success. Possess a positive, high-energy, friendly, and engaging personality; willingness to initiate customer interactions and guide them through the store. Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interactions with customers and corporate partners. Proficient with technology, including the ability to operate retail POS systems, Microsoft Office, email, etc. Ability to lift, carry, or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds when merchandising the sales floor. Comfortable with using ladders or stairs. Demonstrated proficiency in coaching and mentoring employees, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment. Goby Walnut & Western Hardwoods is seeking one part-time weekend shop / retail helper. Position is team oriented, forward facing, and can be very social. Duties include helping customers in the retail area, shop upkeep and light shop work, as well as processing short, highly figured boards and choice pieces for the website and to display in the retail space. DEADLINE IS .3/31/25  Can be completed any time during store open hours.  No pre-call required.  Full instruction will be provided PHG needs reps to visit retail chain stores to perform audits on their floor care.  Reps will need to do a short interview with the manager, walk around main store and aisles to evaluate and take photos of flooring as an indicator of what is needed to keep the floors at peak appearance. They will also need to visit the janitor's area and get photos of their mop supplies and floor chemicals. Travel pay can be discussed at scheduling if distance involved  Reporting/photos into client's new CMX1 App or Website must be within 24 hrs of visit.
