Full-time pastry chef / baker (Glendale)

Busy downtown restaurant is hiring for a full time service manager. We are looking for someone to spend most of the shift working the floor: managing the staff, engaging with with guests and ensuring that service and food quality is excellent. You must have a positive demeanor, be extremely organized and detailed oriented. Additionally the position requires tracking employees lateness and other disciplinary issues, and addressing performance issues in a professional and thorough manner. Confidence with this is a must. Looking for strong line cooks. Responsibilities Execute menu items to our standard with attention to detail, procedure, presentation, and timing. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and efficiency on your station during service. Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth service and communication. Uphold food safety standards and sanitation practices. Contribute to a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and respect among coworkers. Qualifications Steakhouse experience preferred but not required. 2-3 years of line cook experience in a high volume restaurant. Strong knife skills and knowledge of cooking techniques (grilling, sauteing, frying, and pantry) Ability to thrive under pressure and maintain composure Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
