Our horses are gentle, and volunteers ages 14 and up are encouraged to apply (12 years old with a parent for facility work). All volunteers must attend an orientation, complete the required paperwork and participate in on-going training during their period of service.\r\n\n\r\n\nAll volunteers who work with horses and clients begin their time as Sidewalkers. All Sidewalkers will have the opportunity to advance their skills to become Horse Handlers or Horse Leaders through our in depth training.
