Totally Chocolate is looking for a Maintenance Tech to join our maintenance team that keeps us running every day! As producers of custom chocolate products, we have a plant full of various types of machines that you will be trained to maintain. You bring a strong Mechanical and Electrical aptitude along with experience in the role that demonstrates your ability to troubleshoot and get us back online. The position is predominantly Monday to Friday day shift but may require occasional weekend or overtime during our peak winter months of production. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment Repair all production equipment as needed Perform breakdown analysis Perform general housekeeping Upgrade production lines with new equipment/technology Comply with GMP, safety, and audit standards Work independently under limited supervision (self-management) Documentation of work schedule and work tasks completed Production tasks as needed BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 18 years or older Pass the drug test; Pass the background check Experience with electrical systems, troubleshooting repair and installation. Experience with mechanical systems (e.g., gear boxes, chains, sprockets, motors, seals, bearings). Experience with product manuals (e.g., reading and applying knowledge to make repairs). Experience with troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns (pinpointing and fixing breakdowns). The ideal candidate will adjust tool and fixture offsets to achieve documented material tolerances, interpret work instructions and product/component drawings, and use precision measuring equipment to ensure parts meet engineering specifications. Additional Skills & Qualifications 2-5 years machining experience in moderate to high volume production environments. Experience in setting up, operating, and adjusting both manual and CNC lathe machining. Ability to inspect parts using micrometers, gage pins, thread gages, digital/analog indicators, surface plates, calipers, and other tools. Ability to read and comprehend production Bill of Materials and production orders. Team player, professional, driven to first-time accuracy, and able to work under pressure. Work Environment This position requires working the 3rd shift OR the 1st shift.
