KEY RESPONSIBILITES: -Prepare, file and serve a wide range of Court documents, including but not limited to: *Summons *Complaints *Proofs of Service *Notices *State Court Motions *Subpoenas *Transcribe dictation accurately and efficiently *Type documents quickly and precisely *Manage case files and maintain confidentiality *Coordinate with attorneys, co-workers and court personnel *Support daily operations in a fast-paced legal environment REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum 2 years as a legal secretary or similar role - Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy - Excellent typing skills – fast & accurate - Strong attention to detail - Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines - Patient, open-minded and a great listener - Exceptional communication &interpersonal skills - Enjoys working collaboratively with a team BONUS TRAITS: - Self-motivated - Strong organizational and time management skills - Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
