Position Summary As Director of Operations, you will own the field. Your mission: drive elite execution across operations, technician performance, customer satisfaction, and profitability with speed, precision, and zero tolerance for mediocrity. You’ll report directly to executive leadership, managing key performance areas including Field Execution, Team Productivity, Customer Experience, Job Documentation & Closeout, Job Cost Management, Technician Training & Compliance, and AR/Project Closeout Support. Requirements Key Responsibilities Field Ops: Mobilize CAT/Large Loss teams within 4 hours, period. Zero excuses. Team Performance: Maximize revenue per tech per day. Get crews running hot. Customer Experience: Drive 5-star reviews like your life depends on it. Job Closeout: Ensure projects are documented, clean, and closed out within 48 hours. Profitability: Hit a 75% estimate close rate at target margins. Reduce rework. Nail gross profit. Compliance + Safety: Oversee documentation completeness, drying logs, photo records, and drive WCOMP Ex Mod improvements. Training + Retention: Reduce churn. Ramp new hires fast. Build a culture of killers, not clock-punchers. Collections + AR: Maintain 90%+ collection rate with Requirements Background in disaster restoration, mitigation, reconstruction, or other directly related field services REQUIRED for consideration. Large loss experience working with deals $5m+ REQUIRED Proven success scaling operations from $5-10M to $30-50M+ in restoration, field services, or fast-paced ops-heavy businesses. Experience as a player-coach leader, building strategy and executing it hands-on. Tech-savvy, systems-minded, and allergic to chaos. Acquisition and integration experience to enable smooth operational integration post-acquisition. Strong change management skills to drive cultural and process adoption across growing teams. Sales connections within restoration, mitigation, or construction verticals are advantageous. Pete's RV is looking for an experienced technician who is able to diagnose, inspect, adjust, repair, or overhaul (RVs) recreational vehicles including travel trailers. May specialize in maintaining gas, electrical, hydraulic, plumbing, or chassis/towing systems as well as repairing generators, appliances, and interior components. Service Associate - Base Operations
We are helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire a Service Associate (Base Operations) to support daily fleet operations. In this role, you'll be responsible for the daily upkeep of the vehicles, with tasks such as cleaning, fueling, and ensuring the test site is organized and presentable for operations. Within the Base Operations (BaseOps) team, you'll help ensure that vehicles meet regulatory requirements per provided guidance. You'll also support the company's parts team in organizing and transporting spare parts inventory and help its driving team, Alpha Operations, with their operational testing needs. Rate: $25 per hour This role is based in Austin, TX, and offers the following schedules: Thursday-Monday 2:00PM-10:30PM Wednesday-Sunday 10:00PM-6:30AM As a Maintenance Mechanic, your responsibilities include: Primary: Supporting company milestones and optimizing drive operations across multiple locations. Ensure the vehicles, equipment, and workplace are clean and ready for use.  Provide logistical support for the movement and storage of vehicles and equipment. Assist with paperwork and documentation related to vehicle readiness. Perform routine charging of our test vehicles and supporting equipment.  Execute mission prep procedures, which include, but are not limited to, launching software across several devices per vehicle, verifying SW and HW configurations, deploying SW as appropriate, capturing requested data, and escalating issues as they arise. Support the readiness of spare parts and the associated inventory.
