The successful candidate will be based in California and will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation on issues pertaining to eminent domain. Responsibilities Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and other court documents Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and other legal proceedings Prepare and present evidence at administrative and judicial hearings Advise clients on legal issues related to eminent domain, including valuation, compensation, and eminent domain law Collaborate with other legal professionals, including paralegals and other attorneys Manage and prioritize a high volume of cases, ensuring that all deadlines are met Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and other stakeholders Requirements Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school Admission to the California Bar 4+ years’ complex litigation experience, with public agency acquisitions, eminent domain and inverse condemnation litigation Strong legal research and writing skills Excellent negotiation skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Sound judgment and problem-solving ability

Responsibilities: Assist attorneys in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions from contracts and loan commitments through closing and post-closing.
