Seasonal Snow Operations Manager Tricon is seeking a Seasonal Operations Manager with extensive knowledge in the Snow and Ice Industry, who will show initiative to monitor, delegate, and follow up to deliver the highest level of service quality possible. Duties include, but are not limited to: · Ability to adjust work schedule during the snow season as needed. · Full Recruitment of seasonal personnel · Oversee all seasonal staff workers to ensure that all contracts are being fulfilled in a satisfactory and timely manner. · Train Regional Supervisors and seasonal personnel to ensure complete training and compliance with all company policies · Conduct Pre-Season site visits · Set up routes to maximize quality and productivity · Assist in creating site maps for Plow, salt and sidewalk crews · Control Labor and equipment expenses · Coordinates with Fleet Department for essential repairs pre-/post and post-season. · Report all accidents/injuries following proper procedures · Complete incident reports within set time frames · Respond to customers and ensure Regional Supervisors address customers’ issues in a timely manner to ensure 100 % customer satisfaction Requirements: · Must be highly motivated and able to work independently and in a team. · Must have knowledge or experience working with Microsoft Office. · Possess effective communication skills. · Must be well organized and be able to manage multiple crews. · Must be able to multi-task. · Previous snow and ice removal experience required 5 years · Available to be on call 24/7 during snow season (Oct-April) Bilingual (Spanish a plus!) Dismantles and repairs, replaces, or reassembles electrical, electronic, and pneumatic control AC units and associated HVAC units. Installs and fits bearings, bushings, connecting rods, and shafts; aligns motors and flywheel drives [At DCA]; adjusts controls; sets heat anticipators and rewires units; and installs purge units for recovery. QUALIFICATIONS Four years of progressively responsible experience in the installation, test, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning equipment and systems. Full performance (journey) level knowledge of and skill in the HVAC trade. [At DCA] Knowledge of and skill in making repairs to Chillers and Chilled Water Systems and Boilers (low-pressure hot water). Skill in using tools, technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, manufacturer’s materials, and other equipment and guides in journey-level HVAC work. EDUCATION A high school diploma or a Certificate of General Educational Development (GED). CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES REQUIRED A state driver’s license in good standing. Universal Certification (Section 608) by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to service HVAC/refrigeration equipment within 30 days of hire, promotion, or placement in the job. NECESSARY SPECIAL FACTORS Work is typically reviewed in progress and upon completion for quantity, quality, timeliness, teamwork, customer service, and other factors.
