Oregon has reciprocity with Arkansas, Idaho, Maine, Montana, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming—licensed electricians in these states can readily obtain an Oregon license. Experience with solar electrical systems preferred. Reliable, punctual, and collaborative team player. Strong communication skills—both written and verbal. Ability to read and interpret site plans and single-line diagrams. Comfortable with the physical aspects of the role, which may include carrying, lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, crawling, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, and working at heights. Job site conditions may vary. Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and proof of insurance; regular travel between job sites is required (company van provided). Day-to-Day Duties Install, retrofit, and troubleshoot residential and small commercial electrical systems, including solar PV systems, panel and service replacements, branch circuits for remodeling projects, battery storage systems, and EV chargers. Install wiring and circuits; provide disconnects and meters per NEC / OESC. Install upgrades to load centers, decommission knob-and-tube systems, and install electrical connections to mechanical systems. Supervise and train Apprentices as required. Complete all necessary paperwork. Meet Neil Kelly safety standards. Apply knowledge of electrical codes (required) and familiarity with Oregon Solar Installation Specialty Code. Perform additional responsibilities as directed. Certified Electrician needed for residential work and commercial work. We are looking for someone that has 4+ years of experience (Hands on experience with new construction and remodel work). Some examples may include rough wiring, troubleshooting using multimeter, installation of new construction and remodel materials for receptacle/switch outlets, single-pole, 3-way and 4-way switches, wall mounted light fixtures, hardwired smoke detectors, recessed lights, EV chargers, PVC/EMT/FLEX conduit, MC cable, low voltage/landscape lighting, replacements of circuit breakers and panel upgrades. This position requires physical work, such as, using power tools, pulling cables and needing to access attic/crawl spaces. Some knowledge of the NEC is also required. We need someone that is responsible, has a reliable source of transportation and can work well with others. Most of the work will be Monday-Saturday and willing to work overtime if necessary.
