Contruction workers wanted. The Environmental Technician performs tasks including non-emergency and emergency response activities involving confined space entry such as manholes, tank cleaning, tank vacuuming, environmental cleanup, waste handling, decontamination, sweeping and shoveling, pressure washing and various other remedial activities. Physical Requirements: • Must be able to withstand exposure to dust (chemical and environmental), fumes (chemical and fluids), exhaust and highly pressurized fluids. • Must be able to perform physical labor including lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objects. • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. • Must be able to wear PPE. • Must be able to work under adverse conditions (heat & cold).
