SF Clean City is a non-profit organization that promotes and supports greening and beautification activities throughout San Francisco. The Green City Program offers low-income residents of San Francisco with employment barriers, opportunities for paid transitional employment, job readiness training and assistance with job placement through participation in community greening projects. The Tree Specialist Operations Manager position will provide both field supervision and work support to a team of 5+ Tree Specialist Operators. Job Responsibilities: • Managing and supervision of watering routes, 5+ Tree Specialist Operators • Safe daily driving of a heavy-duty truck • Quality assurance of all tree maintenance work and tree watering routes • Leading safety tailgates, oversight and compliance with safety protocols on routes • Tree watering on the routes, as needed • Facilitating needed resources and support for operators and program participants • Oversight of vehicle and equipment inventory ensuring clean, organized and good working conditions • Scheduling regular maintenance visits for any equipment and vehicle issues • Maintaining needed supplies and tools on water trucks • Coordination of data collection • Coordination with workforce staff and any special project scheduling for participants • Scheduling and supporting any group tree planting activities • Other related duties as needed Qualifications • Prior landscape, tree crew or construction management experience • 2+ years’ experience leading a diverse work crew • Clean driving record with the ability to maintain coverage with our insurance carrier • Strong communication and organizational skills • A passion for diversity and equity with an ability to work with a wide range of people • Ability to lift and/or move 40 pounds and perform physical labor • TDAP and Hepatitis A & Hepatitis B vaccinations are required for this position • Landscape and/or Arboriculture experience and/or education a plus • Knowledge of Spanish or Cantonese a plus Please submit resume and cover letter to: Tree Specialist Operations Manager Position c/o Executive Director Email: info@sfcleancity.com SF Clean City NO phone calls please!

The Compliance Department is an integral part of VIP’s mission and operations. The Health Care Compliance Specialist reports to the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO).
