LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL! This is a fully converted, 2016 FORD TRANSIT WAGON 350 XL with low roof (long length for cozy sleeps), ready for off grid living! Are you ready for a BAJA adventure or other SURF inspired trip? Consider this rig your Fun in the Sun Surf Shack on wheels. Looks and drives fantastic, ready for some major adventures. Explore the outdoors in style with this campervan that can also be a great daily driver. It is purposely not overly built out so there is flexibility whether you need cargo/ extra space for your work or passion projects. More surfboards lol. Serious buyers only. ***This van is currently located in Ojai, California and has valid tags/plates registered in Oregon. ***Only 87k miles. PASSENGER FEATURE: 350 model is a “full passenger” van frame versus the cargo structure. Though the extra passenger seats were removed for the conversion the "passenger" model includes important safety details to support the integrity of the frame like side impact beams (in case of a crash) , as well as dual stage airbags, and an airbag occupancy sensor. The “350” indicates heavy duty capabilities like a 3226lb payload versus the other models. LOW ROOF ADVANTAGES (and Length detail): I prefer the low roof because I like to adventure but I don’t need to “live” in the van as I would rather be outside exploring. I spent quite a bit of time in a high roof Sprinter van and it was so tall the whole van swayed back and forth back and for back and forth from here to Timbuktu. The swaying made me wheezy, hurt my tailbone. Look up “Jeep disease” LoL! We also had issues with parking structures , w/ the high roof and it was just more cumbersome to drive. This is my daily driver by the way and is fun and easy to drive. Even with the long length at 235” inches I can still fit in regular parking spaces. This is upgraded from the standard length but not as long as the extended length (263”) So a happy medium. ELECTRICAL/ POWER/SOLAR /SYSTEM: 2x 400W Solar panels, 2000W Ampeak inverter! Remote inverter switch, 1000 amp Marine cycle 12 V battery , “Rich Solar” solar charge controller, Blue Smart Charger, BSP Smart Battery Insulator (prevents overheating the battery), 110 volt power outlets, and USB chargers throughout. Also has an exterior dedicated power port for shore power if camping at an RV park or Campground. Tinted windows to reduce the solar impact and provide maximum privacy Modular swivel passenger seat for turning all the way around /facing kitchen /bed Solar Refrigerator and freezer 2 burner Gas Camp stove Black out Curtains Little Buddy propane space heater for indoor use Evapolar rechargeable air cooler (keeps the back cool for the pup pups but not an offgrid A/C by any means.) Spare tire/lifting jack and tire iron with specific attachment for emergency Magnetic screen curtain for the side door or back to leave doors open for fresh air when camping but keep out the bugs. Stock features: Drivetrain is RWD Metallic, “Root Beer” colored paint 3.5L PFDi V6 engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission Sliding side door Backdoor is “barn door style with two doors swinging outward Multifunctional steering wheel Power window/locks Rearview camera Sound System A/C and heater Unleaded gas / 19 MPG on the HWY which is considered good for being heavy duty REASON I AM SELLING: The van runs and drives perfectly! It was (and is) the perfect rig for me as I like to spend my winters in Baja. I have a huge car payment at a high percentage rate that I can no longer afford as I am going back to school. I thought I could refinance but I was not aware the vehicle is considered “Commercial” and it is really hard to refinance a “commercial” vehicle. Mileage and year comes into play. So sadly I’m going to let her go! With all that said we can use a neutral, third party (Buyer can choose) title/escrow company to handle the transaction. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST!
