Our transportation company is looking for an experienced and trusted Class A driver for our swing shift position. This position is designed for reliable and experienced Class A Truck Driver to transport goods safely and efficiently to/from our clients sites. The ideal candidate must have a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL), a clean driving record, and experience operating commercial 53’ tractor trailers. This role requires a strong focus on safety, time management, and customer service. Responsibilities: • Operate commercial trucks to transport goods between locations. • Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of materials. • Follow all traffic laws and company safety regulations. • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. • Keep accurate logs of driving hours and deliveries. • Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse personnel. • Adhere to delivery schedules and deadlines. • Maintain the truck in good working condition by reporting any maintenance or repair needs. • Handle paperwork, including delivery receipts and invoices. • Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner. • Load and unload using a forklift, after company certification is issued; Requirements: • Valid CDL (Class A). • Clean driving record with no major violations. • Proven experience as a truck driver (2yrs minimum) • Ability to operate GPS and electronic logging devices (ELD). • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures. • Physical ability to load and unload cargo if required. • Excellent time management and organizational skills. • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime if needed.
