Diesel Technician responsibilities • Perform minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers. • Conduct regular preventative maintenance inspections on trucks and trailers. • Perform DOT inspections. • Perform major repairs to equipment, including engine, rear end, clutch, brake, and transmission. • Perform minor repairs to equipment, including but not limited to cutting, welding, changing tires, and replacing lights. • Perform electrical system repairs on vehicles. • Maintain clean and organized work area. • Professional appearance and language (no profanity) Applicants must be able to pass a background check and drug test. Experience, skills, and knowledge • 2+ years of Diesel Technician and/or mechanic experience preferred. • Proficient knowledge of scan tools, mechanical, and electrical systems • Valid driver’s license • Self-motivated person who comes to work on time every day.
