Bartender – The Shannon Pot (Long Island City, Queens)

New bar in Nolita seeking experienced bartenders to start in the coming weeks. Full time work is available between the new location and our other location. New York experience is a must. Must have full availability.

The server position at Baba's Pierogies is an all-encompassing job, as a new member of the Baba's Team you should be ready, not only to provide great customer service, but also have a 'go-get-em' attitude, good presentation and cleanliness. Our servers run their own food and keep their tables neat and tidy. We need someone who can be in charge of the floor on their own, but also can work well alongside other team members. Our shifts are solo shifts; hosting, serving, running, and bussing. All the dishes at Baba's are made to order fresh, once you learn about our menu you will be expected to try our food and sell it to the customers. We have confidence in our food and so should our servers, you should be ready to build checks and sell dishes. Server responsibilities also include making Baba's Sauces, we expect our servers to have the determination and skill to follow our recipes exactly and prepare these sauces during the regular shift. Line cook or Junior Sous needed Each position will have a different schedule, but for both, availability of 5 days per week is required, including weekends. Must have the ability to work in a team, collaborate positively, and maintain company standards. Must be able to understand and follow recipes according to the chef's requirements. The restaurateur behind La Sirène (SoHo and Upper West Side) and Taureau has made his debut in Midtown this summer with the newest addition to the family: Margaux by La Sirène, an upscale-casual (semi-gastronomique) French restaurant and cocktail bar. The chef owns all of the portfolio restaurants fully and bears all risk; he is an artisan, and seeks fellow artisans with a passion for gourmandise to help bring his vision to life.
