Our schedule is from 8-4, Monday through Friday (no weekends). This is a year-round position. The right candidate will have proficiency in all aspects of garden care: correct pruning, mulching, and planting techniques, western Washington weed and plant identification, and more. We seek someone with a depth of horticultural knowledge that surpasses the typical “mow and blow” landscaping operation. We will work with the right person to train them in our standards and systems before placing them in leadership. You should have a proven track record in: • Advanced Tree Climbing: Proficient in various climbing techniques, including SRT and DRT, and experienced in safely accessing trees for various tasks. • Tree Removal: Expert in technical and high-risk tree removals, including rigging and strategic felling in confined or complex spaces. • Tree Pruning: Knowledgeable in industry-standard pruning techniques (e.g., ANSI A300 standards) to improve tree health, structure, and aesthetics. • Equipment Operation: Skilled in operating and maintaining equipment like chainsaws, chippers, and stump grinders, mini-ski, excavator experience a plus. • Safety: Committed to following all safety protocols and procedures on the job site.
