Role Overview We're seeking an experienced Frontend Engineer to architect and build modern, responsive web applications that serve as the customer-facing component of our AI-native insurance agency platform. You'll create intuitive interfaces that leverage our AI capabilities to simplify complex insurance processes for agents and policyholders alike. In this role, you'll collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Business, Data, Finance, and Operations teams to scale operational effectiveness in our high-growth environment. What You'll Do Collaborate with product and design teams to integrate AI-driven features (e.g., autocomplete, summarization, natural language queries) directly into the front end. Leverage tools like  Spring AI to orchestrate client-agent interactions within enterprise workflows Utilize agent-based IDEs (e.g. Cursor) to accelerate front-end and full-stack development workflows, achieving significant gains in development velocity and reducing time-to-deploy for GenAI features Design and develop intuitive, high-performance enterprise web applications using Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, and related technologies Implement robust testing strategies including component, integration, and end-to-end tests using Cypress, Jest, and React Testing Library Build responsive interfaces that work seamlessly across devices and browsers Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to transform requirements into exceptional user experiences Design scalable frontend architecture with modular components and minimal technical debt Optimize application performance including load times, rendering efficiency, and overall user experience Implement and maintain CI/CD workflows using Git, GitHub Actions, or similar tools Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and industry standards Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members Requirements What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields (or equivalent practical experience) 5+ years of experience building web applications with React and related technologies Extensive experience with modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript Strong command of HTML, CSS, and CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS Comfort working with streaming and real-time AI outputs (e.g., token-level updates, WebSockets, server-sent events). Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks such as React (preferred), Vue, or Svelte, with deep understanding of component-based architecture and state management. Experience integrating AI/ML APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock,  Anthropic) into production web applications. Understanding of human-AI interaction principles, including how to present, explain, and control AI-generated content responsibly. An HBW Construction Project Manager is involved with all aspects of HBW Construction projects including marketing, sales, estimating, contract management, negotiating, project schedule and administration, financial management and closeout. The Project Manager is responsible for approximately 3-4 HBW Construction projects at any one time and ensures projects are of high quality, delivered on schedule, within budget and in accordance with all regulatory requirements and customer expectations. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES Customer Care An HBW Construction Project Manager is responsible for assisting in the development of new business opportunities and strengthening existing customer relationships. The Project Manager will assist in: Cultivating existing customer relationships to generate repeat business through performing work above expectation, regular check-ins and entertaining. Share professional knowledge with clients that adds value to their projects and identifies/addresses issues before they become problems. Estimating/Sales The Project Manager works directly with the estimating staff to develop bids, participates in project interviews, works with the client to answer any questions, and follows up on outstanding bids. The Project Manager creates the project schedule using MS Project and develops the general conditions for each bid. The Project Manager will review all subcontractor bids for completeness and accuracy. Identifying potential new business opportunities by following up on leads, networking and attending industry events. Planning/Execution Once a job has been awarded, the Project Manager will: Oversee preparation and ensure execution of job contract. Negotiate with and select subcontractors to perform the work. Draft subcontracts. Prepare job budget, develop project schedule, and coordinate material ordering, as necessary. Select the project Superintendent, orient the Superintendent to the job and work with the Superintendent to ensure that the construction plan is executed in accordance with schedule, HBW standards of quality and complies with building codes and regulations. Identify and track all long lead time items on the project critical path. Prepare for and lead weekly progress meetings. Anticipate issues and proactively work to avoid or resolve them. Hold weekly progress meetings and prepare meeting minutes. Track submittals, prepare requests for information, and create owner and subcontractor change orders. Responsible for the financial management of the job and meeting the job's financial goals. Revise monthly cost projections and handle collections related to work. Update the project schedule as needed to meet the final deadline. Deliver project on time, within budget and "100% at move-in." "100% at move-in" is having no punch list at completion. Resolve interpersonal conflicts among project staff, handle errors or delays and respond to crises. Demonstrated business acumen with strong presentation, communication (verbal and written), problem solving, financial and leadership skills. Ability to maintain composure, professionalism and objectivity in difficult situations and effectively resolve conflicts. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project. As a Senior Python Developer, you will work with our application and collaborate with third-party teams to integrate our application with theirs. Our backend is a set of APIs consumed by various frontend React applications, including online ordering websites, mobile apps, and in-store ordering kiosks. We have three main APIs, each quite large: Admin API (for the admin panel), Order API (for e-commerce products), and In-store API (for our in-store products, including kiosks and kitchen display systems). The main application is based on Flask and uses MySQL for its database. We do not use an ORM to talk to the database, so you must be well-versed in writing SQL and working directly with a database to be effective. Integrating with APIs provided by the backend team to provide seamless connections between our applications. Integrating with external APIs directly. Expanding the capabilities of our REST APIs: building new endpoints using the OpenAPI specification. Building new backend functionalities to help expand the feature set of our customer-facing products. Improving the end-user experience by reducing the latency of API endpoints using all tools available (SQL queries, indices, caching, background tasks, Datadog APM, etc.). Tracking down and fixing bugs encountered by end users. Refactoring parts of the application that require modernization. Expanding the scope and coverage of the automated test suite. Requirements Powerful written and verbal communication skills. 5-10 years as a Python Developer. Experience with Flask or Django, with a strong preference for Flask experience. A thorough understanding of working directly with databases and writing custom SQL queries. Experience working on a consumer-facing application with high-performance requirements. Experience integrating with external APIs for payments and other non-core features. Experience working on an e-commerce application, preferably in the restaurant or retail industry. Knowledge of and experience with CRM and/or loyalty & marketing applications, directly or indirectly by integrating with such systems.
