Compensation: Starting $20 but will be determined on experience and knowledge Employment type: Part-time for training, expanding to full-time. San Diego Powder and Protective Coatings is a fast paced, dynamic company serving a variety of products from civilian and military customers. Hours of operation: Monday-Friday 7:30-4:00, overtime and Saturday work are expected as the workload dictates. Responsibilities and Duties Description: The Customer Service position has the responsibility of assisting SDPPC in a variety of functions. Including but not limited to: • Primary responsibility with assisting customers in person, via phone calls, and email correspondence. • Multi-tasking is key in this role, it is solely not an all day desk job! This position requires you to also go outside and assist customers, review parts, open pallets, count parts, take measurements, provide pricing, take photos, upload photos, data entry of all incoming orders, review invoices, contact customers, and schedule deliveries upon completion. Qualification and Skill Requirements: • Must be at least 18 years old • Must be able to read and write in English, Spanish is a plus • Must be able to perform basic math skills • Must be able to positively interact with customers and coworkers of all ages, different ethnic/cultural backgrounds and/or language, and individuals with special needs • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time • Regular use of hands to finger, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl, walk, talk and hear, while being able to lift up to 35 lbs. • Must be able to work in outside weather conditions (hot, cold, sunny, wet and/or humid conditions) • Must have experience in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Adobe, PowerPoint, Word, experience in Quickbooks is a plus Please email a resume if interested, as you will be asked to fill out an application, and or an in person interview.
