Technical Knowledge and Basic Qualifications: • General understanding of computer systems ability and desire to learn new programs and systems required. Excel, Word, and Outlook competence required. • The applicant in this position would preferably have 1-3 years of all-around customer service and business experience or the educational equivalent. Self-storage experience is not required. • Ability to communicate effectively personally and by telephone is required, plus honesty and commitment to task accomplishment are also necessary. • A valid driver’s license is required. • Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for long periods. Must be willing to perform light cleaning duties and maintenance. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Compensation: Base pay with bonus opportunities. Must live on site. Effectively communicate all client issues with Contractors and the Director of Operations; promptly address any client issues or problems that arise. Schedule each non-routine activity in client facilities. Update and keep current all Building Information Sheets (BIS), FSM Summary Sheets, and Exhibit A’s. Ensure MSDS sheets for each client serviced in janitor closets are complete, accurate, and that all items are properly labeled. Notify Sales Executives of potential accounts in your territory, especially new construction. Discuss quality control surveys with your clients and encourage them to take the time to respond when they are received. Communicate client survey responses to the Director of Operations, Night Managers, and Contractors. Develop and implement a plan with the Director of Operations and the Night Managers to resolve any client complaints or deficiencies in service and actively monitor compliance.
