Position Overview: We are seeking a dependablePrep Cook who takes pride in keeping a kitchen running smoothly. This role is essential to our operation — you’ll be the critical first step of our kitchen team by prepping vegetables, marinating proteins, and making vinaigrettes. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain more kitchen experience, work with a talented team, and grow within a professional culinary business. There is definite room for advancement for the right person. Key Responsibilities: Prepare vegetables, marinate proteins, and make vinaigrettes. Line cooking as needed. Keep kitchen areas, floors, and equipment clean and organized. Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times. Support event prep and occasional off-site catering as needed. Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment. Qualifications: Previous experience in a catering or other high volume kitchen role required. Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills. Ability to follow directions and maintain attention to detail in a busy environment. Must have legal work status in the United States. Must be able to pass a background check. Physical & Safety Requirements: Candidates must be able to perform the physical and mental requirements of the position to successfully carry out the essential functions, including but not limited to: Lifting and carrying 50+ lbs. of product regularly. Working safely with cleaning chemicals and kitchen equipment. Climbing stairs and walking/standing for most of the workday. Occasionally stooping or kneeling, reaching with hands and arms. Responsibilities: -Greet and seat guests. -Manage waitlist efficiently. -Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entrance area. -Communicate effectively. -Answer phone calls and provide information about the restaurant.
