Key Responsibilities: • Clean and maintain all retreat facilities, including cabins, dormitory rooms, dining hall, main building, offices, and gompa • Assist in preparing facilities and land for incoming individual retreatants and group retreats • Assist in the care and upkeep of the retreat land, including trails, walkways, stupas, and general outdoor appearance • Assist in managing trash, recyclables, and compost in accordance with site protocols • Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth functioning of the retreat center Ideal Candidate: • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team • Good communication and organizational skills • Comfortable working in a peaceful, contemplative environment • Has an eye for cleanliness and detail • Physically capable of performing a variety of cleaning and outdoor maintenance tasks • A spiritual practice/orientation • Familiarity with Buddhism • Approved to work in the U.S. This is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to a tranquil and spiritually nourishing space dedicated to personal and collective well-being. JOB REQUIREMENTS: -Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to completing jobs and all related paperwork accurately. -Always operate safely and efficiently while performing job duties. -Maintain a positive and professional attitude toward customers and team members. -Work effectively both independently and as part of a team. -Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. -AAADM certification is preferred but not required.
