INJECTION MOLER Full Time, Four 10s, Schedule TBD Wage Range $21.00 - $23.23/hr* DOE SUMMARY: Makes artificial bones using molds in one or more of the following areas: Box press, bag press, composite, spine, menisci, cortical, and flex foam areas. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: One or more of these duties may be applicable depending on the particular area: Obtain daily production plan & verify proper molds; set up molds & presses; use injection machine &/or other methods such as pressure pot; pouring by cup, or vacuum assist to fill molds with material (may include use of blenders); cut plastic tubing to proper length; use proper mold release; trim parts as needed; apply skin type material to mold before injection; use correct component part or inserts in mold; mix fiberglass with resins; de-mold & inspect product for quality; repair/rework product if needed; use calculator & scale to ratio & weigh out material; stock supplies; clean & prep equipment as needed; count & document parts accurately; move product as needed for each operation with proper documentation; meet established productivity levels, quality standards, & deadlines; use computer to access & input information; cross train in all department areas; wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required; follow appropriate safety precautions; maintain orderly & clean work station; participate in continuous improvement effort; assist others as directed by Supervisor; Assist Supervisor as directed; perform other duties as required. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO HOUSE AND CARE FOR THE ANIMALS IN YOUR HOME (not an apartment). YOU MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION TO BRING THE ANIMALS TO A PARTY OR SCHOOL EVENT AND CONDUCT THE PETTING ZOO. Our animals are clean, domesticated, docile creatures accustomed to being indoors/outdoors and around children of all ages. Since we work with kids, we only use the cutest and safest animals. We do not use large farm animals that are impossible to keep at home. We do our parties on Saturday and Sunday at 11:00 am, 2:00 pm. 5:00 pm. We normally do 2 to 5 parties per weekend. We pay $200 per party, plus you get to keep your tips. Tips are from $25 to $50 for most parties. Please note that not all customers tip. You can make from $400 to $800 (average) per weekend. We provide all the animals and caging, but you will have to care for them and keep them at your home. A house or an apartment with a spare room is required to keep the animals.
