You will help produce small format print materials, often under fast turnaround times. Attention to detail, self direction, and commitment to producing quality print materials will make you the ideal applicant for this role. Responsibilities: ●Read and interpret job tickets - identify & process digital files in the press queues ●Maintain set production timelines ●Load paper stock into the printing press according to specifications ●Produce and check samples for quality and registration before approving entire runs ●Identify print quality issues and report potential problems ●Monitor up to 5 small format presses, addressing jams and toner or stock replenishments promptly ●Assist the Production Manager with press maintenance and troubleshooting as needed ●Maintain a clean and organized shop environment ●Receive supply deliveries and put away paper stock in appropriate areas Requirements: ●Strong attention to detail ●Keen and sensitive attention to color quality ●Ability to work independently and as a part of a team ●Ability to follow instructions and adhere to set protocols ●Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods as needed What’s in it for you? Our company is looking to add an experienced Press Brake Operator familiar with large and small production runs on Amada and Cincinnati equipment. Must be able to work alone and in tandem with others Monday-Friday (we work four ten-hour days with OT on Fridays). Must be able to read prints/drawings and have a mastery of basic math as it applies to measurements to the thousandths of an inch (.001). Must be able to lift and do repetitive movements full time, 40+ hours a week. Must take pride in their work and understand the difference between aerospace tolerance and duct work (no dis-respect to the HVAC industry). This person will have the opportunity to work on up to 10 different work orders every day, producing different parts from a variety of different gauge metals. Here’s what you’ll be doing: • Receive work orders with production instructions and work with our Tool & Die and Materials Teams to get the brake press and the work station ready for production. • Inspect the set-up and run quality tests on the brake press. • Run the Brake Press while monitoring quality, consistency, and compliance of the parts being produced. • Troubleshoot production issues and adjust the set-up to fulfill the requirements of the work order. • Log work order progress and provide information to Quality, as requested. • Remove the tool and reset the brake press set-up for the next work order. • Be flexible and versatile to fill-in in other areas to meet the needs of ever-changing bottlenecks. Job Summary: This is for a night shift position. You would be responsible for performing equipment and property maintenance, as well as mechanical and electrical repairs. Shift: Night Shift, 6:00 pm - 6:00 am Thursday, Friday, Saturday, every other Sunday OR Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, every other Sunday Essential Job Functions: • Answer and or research any questions related to the mechanics of any piece of equipment in the manufacturing areas including Bindery, Pressroom, Shipping, Mailing etc. • Give daily attention especially to the Pressroom and Bindery equipment as directed by Pressroom and Bindery Manager or Supervision/Leadership. • When not on specific equipment breakdown or trouble call, carryout various preventive maintenance work and duties on Press or Bindery equipment. • Assist manufacturing leadership in the basic maintenance training of bindery and pressroom personnel so that those lead operators can assist or outright perform most of their own PM duties on the equipment. • Calibrate or adjust equipment to ensure quality production, using tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, protractors, or ring gauges. • Always work in conjunction with lead operators and Dept.
