Totally Chocolate is looking for a Maintenance Tech to join our maintenance team that keeps us running every day! As producers of custom chocolate products, we have a plant full of various types of machines that you will be trained to maintain. You bring a strong Mechanical and Electrical aptitude along with experience in the role that demonstrates your ability to troubleshoot and get us back online. The position is predominantly Monday to Friday day shift but may require occasional weekend or overtime during our peak winter months of production. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment Repair all production equipment as needed Perform breakdown analysis Perform general housekeeping Upgrade production lines with new equipment/technology Comply with GMP, safety, and audit standards Work independently under limited supervision (self-management) Documentation of work schedule and work tasks completed Production tasks as needed BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 18 years or older Pass the drug test; Pass the background check Experience with electrical systems, troubleshooting repair and installation. Experience with mechanical systems (e.g., gear boxes, chains, sprockets, motors, seals, bearings). Experience with product manuals (e.g., reading and applying knowledge to make repairs). Experience with troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns (pinpointing and fixing breakdowns). I am looking for someone who is interested in general landscape installation and maintenance work but especially interested in: -Natural stonework (hardscape patios, pathways and wall construction) -Native plants & invasive species removal (planting and maintenance) for habitat creation and restoration -Fruit tree seasonal care (maintenance, pruning and future harvest & processing) There will be plenty of on-the-job training but it is helpful to have some related experience. We specialize in hair on buffalo and sheepskins, as well as bark tanned leather from deer and goat. There is a mix of work tanning as well as creative problem solving as we work to improve and scale up our process. Traditional Tanners' hides are sustainably sourced, would otherwise go to waste, and we donate a percentage of profits to rebuild buffalo herds on tribal lands.
