I am looking for a quality guy to me help me with a specific project at a home in Elmhurst. I typically work in the West and Southwest suburbs. We are going to be remodeling a basement, hanging drywall, painting, installing a laminate flooring and other projects. Other project I typically work on include: Framing, painting, hanging drywall, mudding & taping, installing base trim, door casing, installing shower doors, install kitchen cabinets, installing tile and other. I have consistent work to keep us busy every day M-F for months. We work in the suburbs such as: Bolingbrook, Downers Grove, Naperville, Lockport, Plainfield, Joliet, Aurora, Orland Park and other nearby areas. MUST have: * Your own basic tools. (screw gun, hammer, caulk gun, saw, tape measure, etc... * Experience is helpful but attitude is key... along with a willingness to learn and develop new skills. * Good transportation * MUST be reliable and timely * Start immediately Payday is by check at the end of each week. Differential/Power Dividers – Diagnose, remove, rebuild and reinstallation, as necessary. • Starters/Alternators – Diagnose, remove, repair, and replace as censer. • Air Conditioning Systems – Trained/Certified, diagnose electrical and mechanical defects, repair, component replacement, evaluation, and charging. Fan Clutches – Diagnose, remove, rebuild and reinstallation, as necessary. • Power Steering Systems - Diagnose, adjust, and repair, as necessary. • Electrical/Brake/Cooling Systems – Diagnose, remove, rebuild, reinstallation, and adjustment, as necessary. Brake certified. • Clutches – Diagnose, remove and reinstallation, as necessary. • PTO Systems – Installation of PTO System and related hydraulic components. Specific Duties: Technician I Employees perform the following functions with no assistance: • Perform all levels of preventative maintenance • Identify and determine parts require for repair of disassembled units • Identify warrantable repairs and document appropriately • Maintain work area appearance and safety • Road test vehicles as necessary • Performance and prospective duties in a timely and efficient matter • All duties of lower job classifications. • Follow all safety rules and procedures. • Fully participate and support all safety initiatives. • Think safety and continually scan the work environment; make suggestions for corrections and improvements. • Other duties as assigned Qualifications Required: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Ability to lift, push or pull up to at least 50 lbs. • Ability to provide the above major functions, specific duties and with the experience listed above. • Good driving record. • Ability to drive manual 8- and/or 10 and or 13 transmissions preferred. • Ability to drive automatic transmissions and use of PTO. • Computer skills.
