Landscape Company Looking For Crew Lead / Foreman (San Juan Islands)

Fantastic Gardens Hawaii is looking for 1or 2 people to work on our farm/estate doing our landscape work and help harvesting some fruit. There is also a plant nursery with a collection of bromeliads and Aroids. This could be a full or part-time position. The major responsibilities will be weeding, mowing, weed whacking with a string trimmer, hedging our vetiver grass and some other shrubs, seed removal from our areca palms, picking up palm fronds, some irrigation and nursery work. We are in a wonderful location in the back of Waimanalo. If you like outdoor work are familiar with landscapes and landscape tools like mowers etc. and like to work in a beautiful place, this could be for you. Experience with basic landscape tools is required, plnat nurser experience would be a plus. Pay is 20-25/hour. with health care, paid holidays, paid vacation, and fresh pesticide free fruit. Tree removal company based out of Shelby township servicing all of Macomb county. Looking for full and part-time laborers. Our crew runs 8:00 a.m. till roughly 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Time and a half for the 6th and 7th day if you want to work them in the same week. If the hours are too long, you can drive your own car to the job if you need to leave earlier. What we need is general laborers that can carry the logs out to the curb and drag the brush out to the curb to feed the chipper. It is a very laborsome job. If you have a chauffeur license I will move you up a dollar an hour. If you have a CDL class B or better no air brakes I will move you up another dollar an hour. If you have previous tree removal experience and can run a chainsaw, I will move you up another dollar an hour. Beginning pay is $15 per hour cash. You will get paid in cash every Friday. Not for the current week but for the previous week. We stay busy all the way till New Year although our days get a little bit shorter since It gets dark earlier.
