Field Laborer / Helper — Residential Decks & Patio Covers (North County, San Diego) Company: North County Deck & Patio Schedule: Mon–Fri, 7:00am–3:30pm (occasional OT) Type: Full-time, long-term About the role We build high-quality residential decks and aluminum patio covers. We’re adding a Field Laborer/Helper who is hard-working, eager to learn, and a strong team player. What you’ll do • Load/unload and stage materials at job sites and our yard • Work alongside a field foreman and project manager to install decks and patio covers • Basic painting and surface prep • Move, lift, and organize materials and tools • Cut, prep, and prepare materials to perform daily tasks safely, efficiently, and on time What we’re looking for • Previous construction experience required (carpentry and/or aluminum patio cover experience a plus) • Self-starter: dependable, honest, and able to follow directions and ask good questions • Able to lift 50–80 lbs, work outdoors, and use hand/power tools safely • Valid CA driver’s license and insurable driving record • Reliable transportation to and from work • Based in North County San Diego (daily starts from our yard) We offer • Competitive hourly wages + benefits: PTO, paid holidays, health insurance, retirement plan • Company work truck (for job use) and all major tools provided • Ongoing training and growth in a stable, reputable local company How to apply Email your resume to kmitani@ncdeck.com with subject line: “Field Laborer – [Your Name]”.
