Undici Taverna Rustica is looking for a hardworking, dedicated Sous Chef to be a part of the reopening of the latest project from restauranteur Vic Rallo of Birravino,River Pointe Inn and Pastavino. We're seeking an experienced and passionate LEAD COOK to join our Italian market and catering team! -Oversee daily kitchen operations -Lead, Train, and inspire kitchen staff. -Must have strong leadership and organization skills, -Strong knowledge of traditional Italian cuisine and ingredients. -Prepare and cook a variety of Italian dishes, including pastas, sauces, meats, fishes, and vegetables. -Assist with food preparation for catering events and parties. -Maintain production days and organize all raw and dry materials. -Maintain a clean and organized kitchen including walk-in boxes and freezers. -Collaborate with our team to develop new recipes and menu ideas. -Friendly attitude with coworkers and customers. Main Duties: Setting up and breaking down each morning's breakfast tables. Maintaining the safety and appearance of the dining room and cleaning the area in preparation for the next shift. This may include replenishing silverware, sugar caddies and condiments, light to moderate food preparation, refilling beverage containers, mopping, wiping and sweeping, clearing dirty plates from tables, relaying customer needs to the kitchen and providing or refilling drinks. Additional Duties: Provide a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere to guests. Answering phone calls may also be delegated to the breakfast server. Other duties may be assigned by management. Skill Requirements: Aside from the ability to perform all the duties delegated to the breakfast attendant, the attendant must possess good communication skills. As the position calls for working in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment, the attendant should be courteous, efficient and friendly. Attendants must have a strong capability to multitask, be able to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 25 lbs. and work with cleaning chemicals. Clean and professional appearance a necessity. Must be punctual and dependable. 25-30 hours per week.
