The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and management, with experience in a deli or restaurant setting. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and safety, and working as a team to keep the kitchen clean and organized. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production in the kitchen. Manage inventory control, including ordering and maintaining stock levels. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations. Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership. Monitor food presentation and quality to ensure consistency with restaurant standards. Qualifications Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food industry. Strong culinary skills with expertise in cooking techniques, food handling, and preparation. Experience in fine dining, catering, or banquet service is highly desirable. Background in restaurant management or food service management is preferred. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Knowledge of inventory management practices and cost control measures. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in menu planning and execution. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
