We have a bedroom available now for a quiet, mature, and responsible renter to share a modern beautiful house. This house is in prime Mace Ranch, a nice residential area of Davis, with green belts and tree-lined bicycle trails. Many professors and doctors live here. It is far from the downtown crowds, noise, and traffic; yet it is close enough for UCD students to commute. The renter must be non-smoking, non-drug using, non-heavy drinking, and agreeable to maintain a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. No dogs or cats. This vacant bedroom is on the 2nd floor, with a window view of the quiet street. Room size is 12 ft by 12 ft (that is, HUGE by Davis standards), plus a walk-in closet. There are 5 other bedrooms in this house. All 5 housemates are quiet, responsible, and professional; they happen to be all male. You would share 1 bathroom with the next-door housemate, a mature professional gentleman. The room is equipped with a window-mounted AC and a space heater. For COVID protection, housemates have chosen not to use the central HVAC at this time. Other than the $900 rent, you only pay 1/7 share of the whole-house PG&E bill which, in the last 12 months, averaged to about $95 a month. The landlord pays for water and garbage. WiFi is not provided by landlord but could be arranged with other housemates. The lease is from when you move in, to August 31, 2026, and then renewable yearly from September 1 to August 31.
