JOB SUMMARY: The Project Manager is the leader of a project team and the person responsible for the timely completion of the company’s construction projects consistent with company’s employee manual, safety manual, and Quality Assurance Manual. The PM is the company’s liaison to the owner and the primary point of contact for the owner’s consultants, project staff, subcontractors and suppliers. When the project experiences delay, the PM leads the staff to develop recovery plans and mitigation strategies. • The PM is transition manager for the Estimating / Purchasing department when conceptual budgets evolve to become a real project. • The PM shall read and understand the Owner Agreement including change order and billing requirements. • The PM shall develop preliminary General Conditions Budgets, critical path schedules, and project logistics that ensure that projects start on time and exceed scheduled production. • A company’s PM consistently monitors the operational performance of the projects assigned to them. Position Specific Duties: Operate chairlifts within the guidelines of Washington State tramway safety committee rules and ansi b77 code books. Required to conduct Daily, Weekly, and monthly inspections for any existing or potential problems, to maintain and repair lifts according to prescribed procedures see maintenance manuals. Must be able to open assigned lifts for operation: Turning on main power (480 vac), turn on low voltage, perform all stop and safety checks at all stations, check all fluids at stations including primary, secondary, spacing gear boxes, brakes, hydraulic tension, apu and tertiary reservoirs, battery fluid levels and so forth. Perform drive checks: checking all machinery and mechanical parts of the drive station, including primary drive, auxiliary drive, primary, secondary, and spacing gear boxes, fluid levels, batteries, terminal sheaves, tires, belts, brake pads, hoses, and so forth. Perform return checks: check carriage position, tension systems, terminal sheaves, tires, belts, hoses, batteries, and so forth. Maintain a clean and effective working environment for self and staff.
