We are seeking a motivated individual to join our small winery team! At Fingers Crossed, you will have the opportunity to get your hands dirty and participate in the entire process of transforming grapes into wine. A typical workday includes equipment sanitation, grape sorting, fermentation, barrel prep, pump overs and punch downs. The successful candidate must be dependable, self-motivated, work well both individually as well as in a team environment, possess a strong work ethic and attention to detail. This is a physically demanding job, and applicants should be able to lift 50lbs, climb ladders, and work long shifts standing up. During harvest (October-November), one must be available to work nights and weekends as needed. After harvest concludes, we return to a typical M-F (40hr) work week. While previous experience in winemaking is encouraged, a positive and hard-working attitude is the only requirement - we are happy to train and teach you everything needed to grow and succeed with us! DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES - Participate in all aspects of the winemaking process from grape to bottle, cleaning, packing and shipping. QUALIFICATIONS - Familiarity in a winery is encouraged but not required. - Forklift certification is valued but not required. - Bilingual is great.
